Lagrange points are points in space around two massive objects orbiting each other, where a third, much smaller object can orbit synchronously. If you take a snapshot of the two objects and color each pixel according to the direction a smaller object would drift if it were to start in synchronous orbit, you would get an image like the following:

Here, you can see the two massive objects at the centers of the two circles, with the larger circle representing the orbit of the lesser of the two massive objects. The other five fixed points are the Lagrange points, and they can be found at the locations where the black/white line appears/disappears.
